Our Roots
Who is this for?
Evergreen Exploring was founded by Natalie, Rosie and Emily. They are 3 dedicated mothers with 9 children between them. 3 fully qualified teachers with 33 years combined teaching experience, from babies to adults, from York to Corsica. Most importantly, they have a combined 15 years experience leading nature play groups including nature crafts, songs, stories, games and even theme related snacks in their local park.
Combining their teaching skills and early years expertise with their love of stories, songs, food and games they support others to get outside through their seasonal resource packs. The birthday packs are available in a wide range of themes and include nature games, crafts and most importantly a scavenger hunt!
Our Beliefs
Who is this for?
Being a team of qualified teachers, nature lovers, and mums who understand the joys and the juggle of life with young children. We create nature-based play resources that make outdoor time easy, meaningful, and full of wonder for families with under-fives.
Children learn by modelling behaviour: whether it’s talking about a petal’s colour, stacking pinecones, or blowing a dandelion — your words, gestures, and presence show little ones how to connect with the world around them.
We have witnessed this first hand with our own children: how to play with nature, what is ok to play with, how to respect the natural environment and how it sparks imaginative play.
That’s why we don’t just offer ideas for children — we create simple, open-ended activities that help parents model playful, curious, and creative ways to explore nature together.
These small moments of shared attention become the foundation for independent, confident exploration as they grow.
